Implant Prosthetics

Implant-prosthetic restorations are nowadays a scientifically recognized and indispensable part of modern treatment concepts. Both fixed restorations – crowns or bridges – and removable constructions – partial or full dentures – are possible.

Implant prosthetics refers to a superstructure that is fabricated and inserted about three to six months after the insertion of the implants (link to implantology). All implant-prosthetic restorations achieve an optimal anchorage in the jaw through the implants, prevent bone loss and thus improve the quality of life enormously.

In contrast to conventional restorations (link to prosthetics) with tooth-supported bridges or dentures, the remaining natural teeth are not used for anchoring and are therefore not ground down.
